SIL3 certified coupling relay for fire and gas applications

With its PSR-ETP coupling relay, Phoenix Contact is offering a power adaptation module with electrical isolation specifically designed to address requirements, such as safe switch-on, of the process industry. The relay is certified according to SIL3.

The integrated test pulse filter and the adapted current control circuit guarantee a long service life and ensure that the relay is compatible with different safety-related systems.

An optional line/load monitoring feature supports load-dependent configuration and allows unified diagnostics from the control system to the actuator. The existing wiring is used to signal a wire breakage or loads that are missing or incorrect. This avoids the need for additional digital inputs to read back the actuator state.
