Renold's long lasting Synergy chain has saved an American breeze block manufacturer over $16,000 in lost production since it was installed just over 16 months ago.
Block manufacturer, Willcocks Bros, were unable to find a chain that would last longer than three to four months driving machinery that was prone to vibration and shock loading in a highly dusty and gritty environment.
Cam Massey, Maintenance Supervisor at Willcocks Bros, said: This chain really works. It's already lasted four times longer than any other chain we've tried and it's still running fine. Not only has the company made savings by eliminating downtime but it has also saved over $300 in replacement chain costs.
