Granta to host webinars on Eco Design and ISO 14001

Two short web seminars will look at how industry is responding to the challenge of sustainability, and how this can improve product cost, performance and environmental impact.

Guest speakers, Leigh Holloway from Eco3 Design and Vic Clements from The Centre for Sustainable Design, will join Dr Jamie O’Hare from Granta Design, the Cambridge-based provider of software to support materials decisions and eco design.

The webinars will discuss issues including: how to tackle environmental objectives in the product design process; the advantages of applying eco design tools during the crucial early stages of design; obtaining the necessary buy-in from product design and engineering teams; and how engineering enterprises benefit from applying environmental standards such as ISO 14001 and the new ISO 14006 guidelines.

The webinars take place on October 11 (Eco Design) and November 8 (ISO 14001). More details and free registration is available here.
