A new range of stainless steel torque limiting clutches are available from Mayr Transmissions for use in the food , chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Dimensionally interchangeable with existing EAS(r) - Compact(r) series of clutches ,the EAS - Compact - R stainless steel variants are available in 3 standard sizes covering the torque range 10 - 400 Nm.
Only the synchronous , single position , auto reset function is available as this type is generally used on filling machines , packaging machines etc. For applications where the EAS - Compact Torque Limiting Clutches are subject to frequent wash down they can be supplied as either a completely sealed , totally enclosed stainless steel unit or with a plastic cover.
With the addition of the EAS - Compact - R Stainless Steel Clutch series , the Mayr Torque Limiting Clutch range is now the most comprehensive available, being able to meet the torque limiting and safety requirements of virtually every type of industry .
