Following the introduction of its enhanced Dataflow software for injection moulding production process optimisation and monitoring in April 2005, Kistler Instruments has now launched the Type 2859A upgraded signal conditioner to provide the flexibility needed to take full advantage of the new software.
Backward compatible to protect capital investment, the new signal conditioner can be used with a wide range of existing Kistler signal conditioning modules, including charge, thermocouple and voltage amplifiers.
Up to four modules, each with four channels provides up to sixteen channels in one compact unit. Used in conjunction with the Dataflow Version 2.3 software and mould cavity sensors, the new signal conditioner simplifies monitoring the whole processing sequence, from mould trials and optimisation to product monitoring and quality documentation, making a significant contribution to increasing productivity by reducing product rejects.
