As launched, the O5 range included retroreflective and through-beam devices with no adjustment to reduce the 'fiddle factor' and fixed function (dark-on only). For those of you who want added flexibility, ifm has brought out adjustable variants with programmable light/dark switching.
The programming is by pushbutton, but with the simplified procedure that went down so well with the first background-suppressed unit last year. In addition, the ranges of these 'performance' versions is also enhanced, with the retro achieving 10m and the throughbeam 25m.
