Andon light wireless monitoring of machine activity and efficiency

Monitor machine/workstation activity and efficiency from a single remote location. Quick to install without any hard wiring or programming, that's WIN from WERMA.

Centralised machine monitoring without additional wiring - and it's quick to install. An novel extension to the popular Kombisign Signal tower range from WERMA, WIN (Wireless Information Network) is quick to commission and does not entail high investment costs.

Using a 'plug-and-play' approach, the transmitter - the 'WIN slave' - is integrated into an existing WERMA KombiSIGN 70 or 71 signal tower. This sends signals to a receiver - the 'WIN master' - which is connected to a PC or laptop via a USB cable. The software is quick to install and this guides the user, step by step, to its own network.

The WIN facility provides a useful tool for those implementing 'Overall Equipment Effectiveness' (OEE) schemes. Signal light status changes offer a good indication of machine availability and the WIN software enables this data to be presented in the form of run-time charts or machine productivity pie-charts. The data can also be downloaded to applications such as Access or Excel, where further analysis can be carried out.
