Due to the comprehensive content and usefulness of these manuals, users have often retained their copies for many years and, with this in mind, Eaton will present a versatile electrician’s toolkit, complete with fitted shoulder bag, to the person who can produce the oldest copy.
In the new edition of the manual, Eaton has packed a huge amount of invaluable practical information covering virtually every aspect of low-voltage electrical installation and control system technology.
Although it is deceptively small – it is presented in handy A6 format so that it will slip easily into a pocket – the Eaton Wiring Manual comprises more than 600 pages of detailed advice and guidance relating to applications, product selection, standards, system design and related topics. The manual is extensively illustrated throughout with photographs, drawings, circuit diagrams and charts.
For ease of use, the manual is divided into ten chapters dealing with, for example, electronic motors starters and drives; motor protective circuit breakers; switching, control and visualisation; and contactors and relays. The pages have coloured edge tabs identifying individual chapters, and the manual includes a comprehensive index that allows specific references to be located quickly and easily.
Copies of the new edition can be obtained, free of charge, by emailing literature-info@eaton.com, or by calling Eaton’s Information Response Service on 0161 655 8900. Alternatively, the new manual can be viewed online here.
Those wishing to enter the competition should contact Eaton by email at karenashaw@eaton.com by 1st September 2012 and should include in the message the date that their copy of the manual was published and a photograph if possible. Eaton will, of course, verify this date before the prize is awarded! Closing date for entries is 1st September 2012. Terms and conditions apply.
