The 16-key keypad features four double-sized keys for important functions such as 'Enter', 'Cancel', 'Info' and 'Clear'.All characters on the single and double keys are laser marked, which means that EAO can easily customise the layout of the keypad to adapt it to the country where it will be used.
As well as the front plate, the all-metal grid and anti-pull off keys are extremely robust and vandal-resistant as they are made of high quality bead blasted stainless steel. Each key offers a long service life of more than 2 million operations within a temperature range of -30°C to +70°C. All EAO keypads provide excellent tactile feedback that is both reassuring and comfortable for users - crucial for self-service equipment. T
he raised symbols of the keys are compliant with many banking regulations for the visually-impaired; this highly aesthetic keypad is designed for easy rear mounting integration without the need for specialised mounting tools or fixing plates.
Integrated into the design of the PIN-entry keypad are some new security features which are critical for applications such as unattended payment terminal systems.
