Carlo Gavazzi UK is introducing a new adjustable photoelectric sensor that will assist with water management. The easy to install tap controller has been designed to specifically control taps on wash basins and toilet flushing.
The 1786 diffuse reflective photoelectric sensor allows easy installation and setup either hidden behind or inside the sink or toilet. The device features a built-in two second off delay to allow hands to be moved whilst the water is running, together with a shut down function that automatically switches water off after 30 seconds to prevent spillage and excess water usage.
The new 1786 sensor is installed using a simple 2-wire connection and has an operational voltage of 24Vac in temperatures ranging from -10 degrees C to +70 degrees C. Sensitivity range is adjustable up to 600mm with a detection angle of 20 degrees.
Each device is fully moulded and rated to IP67 against water ingress and features a LED indicator when hands are detected and which flashes when the automatic stop is activated.
