Baumer Electric has included such features as background suppression,
teach in flight and clear object detection in its latest fibre optic
amplifier range. The unit is fully programmed from a single 'jog-dial'
thumbwheel, with only the addition of a single slide switch for light-on
dark-on selection. The device has a response time of 120 microseconds and
will fit most standard fibre optic cables.
