Inductive Proximity Sensors Have Tough Housings

The new IFRD inductive proximity sensors from Baumer Electric are cased in stainless steel shells that not only protects the internals from impact damage, but also provide environmental protection to IP68 and a high degree of corrosion resistance. The sensing face can even be exposed to pressures of up to 20bar. Products are available in M8x1x46mm, M12x1x50mm and M18x1x60mm tubular enclosures, with vibration-proof connectors.
