Baumer Electric's news Opto 20 series, featuring low mounting depth and
front/side installation, offers a complete family of sensors covering all
scanning modes: diffuse, diffuse with background suppression, through
beam and polarised retro-reflective. The sensitivity and sensing range
can be adjusted by potentiometer (with the exception of the diffuse with
background suppression model, which has a teach function) and all are
loaded with an algorithm that suppresses the reciprocal optical influence
of adjacent sensors.
