Baumer Electric's 12 Series laser distance sensor is very compact
(12x37x34mm), yet it offers all the features of its larger counterpart.
There are two measuring ranges (15-25 and 15-120mm) each resolvable to
0.002mm, and the response time is just 0.9ms. The unit also offers a
teachable measuring range feature, the 'teach-in' procedure being
executed by means of an integral pushbutton or external teach-in wire.
