With the help of Air Control Industries, SPS Group has been able to provide one of its largest and most prominent clients with a show-stopping point of sale display for their store in one of London's best loved shoppers' havens over the festive season.
Working primarily in the retail sector, SPS Group, based in Ferndown, Dorset, is a specialist in POS campaigns and design, print and finishing. The Group teamed up with Vodafone in late 2005 with the aim of drawing customers to their Oxford Circus store.
Each December, London's major shopping street becomes of vision of opulent window dressings and dazzling displays and consequently the challenge for SPS and Vodafone's partnership was to grab the attention of passers by. SPS' design revolved around the replication of an indoor blizzard, using tiny polystyrene balls to represent flakes of snow.
By incorporating an ACI inverter driven 3MS11 Multi Stage Fan along with a standalone JetBlack Static Neutralisation DC Controller to prevent problems of static with the polystyrene, SPS produced a snow machine capable of transforming the Vodafone store window into a winter wonderland.
SPS project managers explain that the lead up to Christmas is the busiest time of year for mobile phone retailers and an arresting and festive image creates awareness of a brand, encouraging potential customers to browse in-store. The ACI products permitted us to provide a first class service to our client and the end result was a top rate display and a great deal of attention.
