Faster motor connection with 'Cage Clamp'
All Danfoss Bauer geared motors up to 2.2kW are now supplied with 'Cage
Clamp' connections, which are claimed to reduce connection time and costs
by up to 75%. The screw-less connection system allows conductors to be
inserted from the top using a simple push-in connection method. The
process is entirely visible to the installer, ensuring fast and secure
connections in less than one quarter the time taken with screw
connectors. Stranded and solid conductors, in sizes from 0.5mm2 to
2.5mm2, are accepted by the Cage Clamp system, which is UL, CSA and
Lloyds Register of Shipping approved for vibration and shock resistance.
