New from Adaptaflex is a special range of smallbore stainless steel flexible conduit. Introduced in response to customer requirements the range is initially available in 3, 5 and 8mm diameter options. The two smaller sizes come on 20 metre rolls, while the larger size is available on a 10 metre roll.Smallbore conduit is being used in increasing quantities on a variety of applications including industrial, roller shutter door control systems, CCTV installations, fibre optics, IT, voice and data cabling. Introduction of the stainless steel smallbore flexible conduit is to address the expanding requirement for protecting often vulnerable cabling on such systems and to address any concerns regarding sabotage or vandalism. Adaptaflex smallbore conduit is manufactured from helically wound stainless steel strip, which is corrosion resistant, inherently low fire hazard and particularly suited for arduous conditions and wet or corrosive environments.
