Lenze’s ETP-HyLoc locking bushes tolerate high radial forces and maintain accurate concentricity of shafts of up to 220mm diameter. Larger sizes can be accommodated to order. The component comprises a double-walled sleeve, which encloses a tapered, moveable piston; the latter is driven under hydraulic pressure and is mechanically self-locking. Typical applications include the fixing of large gears, turbine impellers, flying shears, rotary test rigs and axial compression test rigs.
