BigHead Bonding Fasteners has now standardised on a new chrome-free zinc-passive finish for the mild steel range of fasteners, at no extra charge to customers. This move is in line with the EU's RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive to ensure that all plated metal products contain no Chrome-6. The complete range of BigHead fasteners (some 2,000 variants) is available in either mild steel or type 316 S11 marine-grade stainless steel.
