Fast distance measuring for dynamic positioning applications

When it is essential to make a continuous and fast determination of an object's current position even if the target is in motion, the laser-based FLS-C distance measuring device is worth considering. This measures the absolute distance to an object with a fixed update rate of 200Hz and to an accuracy of 1mm, with 0.3mm repeatability. Distances up to 500m can be measured with target speeds up to 10m/s.
