Eaton's new Halyester range of GRP-reinforced polyester enclosures will stand the rigours of demanding industrial environments, including refineries, chemical plants, construction sites and ships. Suitable for housing most types of metering and control systems, and switchgear, the IEC 60439-1 compliant Halyester range is new to the UK but has been proven in numerous applications, from the Arctic to the Middle East. There are ten sizes in the IP66 category, with a choice of transparent or opaque UV resistant polycarbonate covers, and seven IP56 units with hinged, transparent doors, factory-fitted earth bars and DIN rails.
Easy to drill, punch, cut and file, most of the enclosures have the same overall depth (171mm) and come in modular sizes for easy multi-enclosure assembly. Individual enclosures can be enlarged by the use of coupling pieces or flanges to increase the depth.
