New hot melt technology from Dow Corning utilises hot melt technology by combining the instant green strength of a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) with the high performance of a cross-linked silicone sealant. Dow Corning HM-has a lower viscosity than Dow Corning HM-2500 assembly sealant, which allows it to flow into deeper section and achieve longer working time. Instant green strength means that parts can be moved immediately from one processing step to the next. Because HM-2510 is a silicone sealant and a PSA, it offers aggressive, long-lasting adhesion to PVC, aluminium, painted and treated wood, high performance paints, plastics and various other substrates.
