MiniTec UK has developed a range of components for ESD sensitive manufacturing and test equipment, and electronics based workstation applications. The special components are based on MiniTec’s aluminium profile system and have durable and scratchproof epoxy coatings providing complete external electrical insulation. The profiles form complete machine and workstation frames in conjunction with special conductive connecting elements. The system removes the need for cumbersome earth cabling and complete equipotential bonding of the machine frame is assured throughout the life of the equipment with no maintenance.
