Evaluation kits for custom motion control and distributed drives

Represented in the UK by LG Motion, Agile Systems works closely with customers on product development projects, providing anything from a minor platform modification to a totally new product, including the creation of custom firmware and software. As part of this initiative, the company offers evaluation kits to help customers determine performance and functional requirements for their applications.
All current products are covered with evaluation kit options including the microMAX series, a FireWire networked and DSP based single-axis motion controller with integrated 900W peak servo amplifier. Built for direct mounting on robotics and automation equipment, microMax combines daisy-chained FireWire networking and power cabling supplemented with localised motor and feedback connection.
An evaluation kit is also available for Agile's new SILENTstep, an advanced stepper motor drive and motion control system featuring sensorless commutation. Giving a significant increase in motor speed and useable torque with no position loss and up to 75% less audible noise, SILENTstep may be retrofitted to existing stepper motor installations to achieve servomotor performance.
