A mechanical jointing system for polyurethane timing belts

If changing a belt on your application fills you with dread because of access problems or the extent to which you have to strip it down, then a new product from Transmission Developments will be of interest. The Breco range of polyurethane timing belts can now be mechanically joined using a prepared, finger-jointed belt of the required length. This normally has around ten tooth clamps and matching top plates with options of normal or countersinking screws to join the whole system together. Already available on the Breco ATN range, the jointing system has now been rolled out to include Breco T10 and AT 10 belts in widths of 50, 75 and 100mm. All joint parts can be supplied in food grade materials if required.
