FAG/Barden has added Kamatics Corporation's KAron bearing liner system to
its range. KAron is a thermoset polyester resin/Teflon particle
composite, which requires no lubrication in service. Already proven in a
number of aerospace applications, bearings that include this material are
corrosion and abrasion resistant and offer a high level of shock
resilience. KAron can be applied to stainless and carbon steels,
aluminium, titanium, bronze, Inconel and fibreglass, as well as to a
range of components, including journal and rolling bearings, shafts,
gears, bushes, wheels and spindles.
