Laser distance measuring device offers 1mm accuracy over 500m

The FLS-C laser based, non-contact distance measuring device from Dimetix measures absolute distances up to 500m to an accuracy of 1mm and repeatability of 0.3mm. This performance is not affected by a colour change of the target object. The device measures distances on natural and reflecting surfaces and determines positions of objects that are difficult to access, that have high surface temperatures, or otherwise located in hostile environments.
