RIA's new AST125 and AST188 are the latest additions to the SpringCon family of terminal blocks from Bulgin Components. Fulfilling the three essentials of today's field wiring applications: fast installation, reliable connection and compact design, these new terminal blocks feature high-density, dual-in-line terminations with two vertical wire connections for each pole. Quick installation is achieved by wire ready contacts allowing solid wires, as well as stranded wires with ferrules, to be inserted directly without any lever actuation.
Having two independent connections per pole allows one wire to be relocated while the second is kept under constant pressure in a gas-tight and vibration-resistant connection. A test port for each pole permits easy verification of the circuit. Available with two to 24 poles, the design of double solder pins for each pole provides a stable mounting on the PCB. The full range includes the standard metric and imperial pitches of 5.0, 5.08, 7.50 and 7.62mm.
