Abssac can now supply precision rolled ball screws in the same accuracy
class as their ground counterparts and provide a cost saving of 50%. In
order to achieve this, the company produces extra quantities of the
ground nut and precision balls to reduce their cost, and then use HRC
58-62 hardened precision rolled ball screws to obtain a cost reduction
while offering high accuracy. Abssac is also able to reduce delivery time
on these items from 15 weeks to three weeks for a recent customer.
