Schaffner opens up the EMC 'black box'

Schaffner will reveal the 'black art' of EMC at this year's show with a demonstration that illustrates EMC effects on drive systems and what solutions are available to improve compliance and functionality. The demonstration rig, which cost £25,000 to build, shows the effects of EMC filters at the input and output stages of a drive. These live demonstrations, which will be presented to small groups of pre-booked visitors, show the effects of EMC on power quality and system reliability. You can pre-book at the company's web site.
