A new industrial communications and power networks division will be the major theme of Harting's stand. New products on show include the EHB-67 TP05 Ethernet hub, which allows up to five items of user equipment to be connected via shielded twisted-pair cables in accordance with IEC 802.3. This makes the installation of Ethernet ports in an industrial environment fast and simple, and is particularly relevant to Ethernet Powerlink installations.
Also new is the Harting ESC TP08 Ethernet switch, which is the first of a range of compact IP30 devices for use within industrial switch cabinets. The unit allows up to eight Ethernet devices to be connected via RJ45 ports, yet has a width of only 22.5mm.
