Rittal reveals all - from software to hardware

You'll get a good idea of what Rittal is all about when you visit its stand at this year's show. There's an impressive spread from the company's portfolio, including demonstrations of the popular Eplan CAE software for electrical engineers. This tool, for the design and documentation of industrial automation systems, offers an easily achieved return-on-investment, thanks to the automatic generation of data such as wire and terminal lists and bills of materials - straight from the schematics.

There will also be an opportunity to examine the company's new CM compact enclosure system, shown for the first time in the UK. These enclosures offer total flexibility and encompass the case benefits of the AE wall-mounting box range combined with the diversity of the TS8 floor standing cabinets. And if climate control is your particular concern, you will also be able to see Rittal's latest cabinet cooling technology that uses water as the cooling medium.

On the power distribution front, the company will be showing a modular motor control centre built from standard TS8 units, covering loads from 800 to 1,800A. This is a well-engineered and cost-effective arrangement, with separation to Form 4/type 7, and short circuit testing of 50kA for one second.
