High power density dc/dc converter modules provide over 200W

Powersolve has introduced the TEP 200WI Series dc/dc converter modules that provide up to 216W output power from a sealed, shielded metal case measuring just 61 x 48.2 x 12.7mm. They are designed as standard for chassis mount with DIN–rail mounting available as an option. Manufactured by Tracopower, the converters come as standard with an aluminium baseplate which, given the unit's 91% efficiency, allows for operation up to 75ºC with convection cooling.

Input voltages can range from 9 to 75Vdc and, with output voltages from 3.3 to 48Vdc, the new modules are particularly suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. Key features also include soft start, output voltage trimming and reverse input protection.
