Henkel, makers of Loctite range, has improved six of its existing portfolio of instant adhesives and introduced two new toughened products into the selection. At the same time, it has enhanced the design of all instant adhesive bottles. Universal adhesives 401 (liquid) and 454 (gel consistency) have been reformulated to provide even faster fixture time than the previous products, as have the low-odour, low-bloom products 403 (High Viscosity), 408 (Low Viscosity), which also feature improved bond strength. The two new toughened products are Loctite 435 (clear) and Loctite 438 (black). Both offer significant impact resistance, and are especially suitable where high peel strength is required.
