MDS conference programme is announced

The Motor Driven Systems (MDS) conference, being held November 9-10 2011 in Solihull, has published its schedule of papers. The scope of the two day conference is wide-ranging, with contributions from both the UK government and the EU, standards and research bodies, various trade associations and leading manufacturers. The programme will cover the key subjects of legislation, technology, systems and standards.

Scheduled topics include UK and EU legislation affecting motor driven systems, worldwide trends in motor efficiencies, product and systems standards, magnet technology and examinations of product practicalities in pump, fan, drives, motors and compressor technology.

Amongst the manufactures addressing the Conference are WEG, Siemens, ebm-papst, ABB, Vacon Drives, Leroy Somer, Nuaire, Grundfos, Mattei Compressors, D&CS, KSB, Rockwell Automation and Sterling SIHI.
