igus has unveiled a new, low cost, lightweight version of its multi-axis Energy Chain for robotic applications. The original Triflex R 'enclosed' was introduced just over a year ago and its round-shaped design enables it to glide around the outer contour of a robot, without becoming hooked in and jammed. Triflex R is available in four sizes and performs even complex multi-axis handling tasks reliably.
