Maintenance-free, long-life flexible coupling

The flex life of the Dura-Flex elastomeric coupling from Huco Dynatork is considerably extended, thanks to the use of finite element analysis in its design. This resulted in a profile that provides an optimum material to strength ratio. The coupling also accommodates significant misalignment and minimizes torsional vibration whilst maintaining its torque capacity. The split-in-half element enables easy element installation and replacement without having to disturb the shaft connection.

The urethane bond to the leading edge of the steel shoe that is bolted to the coupling’s hub is a patented design. This minimizes bond stress, extending the service life of the coupling. The polyurethane flex element also provides superior resistance to harsh environmental conditions and chemicals, environment chamber tests having proved the device under conditions of high temperature and humidy for periods of up to 18 months.

Fully interchangeable with other industry standard designs, Dura-Flex is completely maintenance free. Bore-to-size, Sure-Grip bushed and Taper-Lock hubs can be specified.
