Nano coating prevents fouling of cooling units

The performance of cooling systems is liable to deteriorate between 30 to 50% over time as the cooling membranes become dirtier. On completion of recent trials at a vehicle manufacturing facility, the benefits of Rittal's new RiNano nano coating were made evident with reduced contamination, sustained efficiency, simpler cleaning and a reduction in service requirements. The company believes this application of nano coatings within the enclosure cooling market is an industry first.

Rittal enclosure cooling units can now be specified with a RiNano nano-technology coating, which repels oil and dust and prevents particles from attaching to the condensers, even after prolonged periods of operation. The coating is available on both Rittal's wall- and roof-mounted units from 300W to 4,000W.
