Reliable solid state relays from Crydom

Crydom's new LifePlus ED series of ac and dc output, pluggable solid state relays enable users to replace traditional 12 x 29mm electromagnetic relays with solid state relay technology. Available in a SPST normally open configuration, LifePlus ED offers output ratings of either 3 or 5A rms at 24 to 280Vac, or 5A dc at 1 to 48Vdc or 1 to 80Vdc, all at 40C ambient temperature.

The ac outputs incorporate Crydom's back-to-back SCR technology while the dc outputs utilise high-efficiency FETs, both technologies offering low on-state power dissipation and high surge current ratings - ideal for applications such as small motors, solenoids, heaters and lamps. Optically isolated control inputs include 3 to 15Vdc, 18 to 32Vdc, 48 to 72Vdc, 18 to 36Vdc and 90 to 140Vdc.
