Fast Track Approach To Motion Control .

Fast track approach to motion control BSL Engineering is offering a fast track approach to the implementation of motion control with Parker's modular DIN rail mounting stepper drive range. This system comprises one or more 'docking stations', together with a power supply, all of which mount on the DIN rail. The modules stack side-by-side, and an integral rack-and-pinion interlock secures them together as a single assembly. There is a choice of four power ratings for the stepper drive: two 75V units with current ratings of 2.5A and 5A, and two 170V units with current ratings of 8A and 12A. Any number of docking stations and drive modules can be used in a system, subject only to the instantaneous power demands of all axes being met by the power supply. The stepper module also comes with a position controller, having RS232/485 ports and CANbus option.
