Safety door handle offers escape release option

Fortress Interlocks has introduced a safety EH door handle as part of its amGard range of safety interlocks. The stainless steel EH Handle is used in conjunction with Fortress' actuator head and is designed to be intuitive with a 90° rotating handle that can be used on either left or right handing doors. The EH Handle offers an escape release option as standard, ensuring the safety of operators at all times. It also has lock-out features and can support up to four padlocks.

Cased in stainless steel or zinc alloy depending on the application the EH Handle is easily installed or retrofitted, accommodating differing door thicknesses and a misalignment allowance of ±12 mm. The EH Handle is suitable for applications using small radius hinged doors in harsh environments.
