Smaller Altivar Range Gives You More For Your Money

Telemecanique's new Altivar 31 drives are, on average, 24% smaller than their predecessors. yet they offer CANopen and Modbus communications, integral Class A EMC filters, auto-tuning and enhanced configuration with brake logic or plus/minus speed control. Two versions are available: single-phase rated to 3kW and three-phase to 5kW. These can be mounted within an IP55 enclosure, that can customised to receive additional components such as switch disconnectors, circuit breakers and indicator lamps. For the OEM, the 31 Series can be supplied in kit form, comprising chassis and separate external heatsink. The single-phase kits are available up to 3kW, while for three-phase they are rated to 20kW.
