Introducing The Drive Plc For Compact Inverters

Introducing the 'Drive PLC' for compact inverters Lenze has introduced the Drive PLC, a smaller version of its Servo PLC, for compact frequency converters. The unit is designed to work with an inverter and a number of basic functions are included for PLC/inverter communication (via CANbus), in addition to standard PLC features such as scalable inputs and outputs and a fieldbus interface. An input is also available for the connection of incremental encoders. Thanks to the CAN interface, there is no parallel wiring and no unused terminals, resulting in faster signal processing and direct access to signals within the inverter.
