Slide and rail manufacturer, IKO Nippon Thompson (C6) will show its LT
Series linear motion table, which incorporates Rockwell Automation
control devices. Both companies are to set up a full working example of
the product, which incorporates advanced linear motors to achieve speeds
of up to 3m/s over a stroke length of 2,760mm and a thrust approaching
450N. The LT table is controlled by an Allen-Bradley Ultra 3000 PLC with
built-in indexing capability. Two versions are available: the LC-C with a
table height of just 30mm, and the more rigid LT-L, which has a table
height of 40mm.
The company will also be showing its LWL2 rail, which has a width of just
2mm, and the LWU Series, whose three-sided 'U' shape offers many
structural advantages, including an ability to span considerable
distances unsupported. sales@iko.co.uk
