Iko Shows Off Results Of Rockwell Partnership

Slide and rail manufacturer, IKO Nippon Thompson (C6) will show its LT Series linear motion table, which incorporates Rockwell Automation control devices. Both companies are to set up a full working example of the product, which incorporates advanced linear motors to achieve speeds of up to 3m/s over a stroke length of 2,760mm and a thrust approaching 450N. The LT table is controlled by an Allen-Bradley Ultra 3000 PLC with built-in indexing capability. Two versions are available: the LC-C with a table height of just 30mm, and the more rigid LT-L, which has a table height of 40mm. The company will also be showing its LWL2 rail, which has a width of just 2mm, and the LWU Series, whose three-sided 'U' shape offers many structural advantages, including an ability to span considerable distances unsupported. sales@iko.co.uk
