Gateway connects all Heidenhain encoders to a Profibus network
Heidenhain (GB) has introduced a Profibus gateway that enables the complete range of Heidenhain absolute encoders – linear and rotary – to be linked to a Profibus network. Superseding Heidenhain’s previous gateway, the new version features LED display for the monitoring of bus or module status, and supports DP-VO, DP-V1 and DP-V2 profiles. It can accommodate M12 (eight-pin) or M23 (17-pin) inputs connectors, to suit the user’s EnDat interface.

is via M12
