Economy class drives offer high performance and functionality

Motor Technology has introduced a range of high-performance, economy-class drives from German manufacturer LTi, formerly Lust Technology International. Despite being up to 40% lower in cost than an equivalent high-end drive, LTi’s CDE range is available in power classes from 375W, 12A up to 110kW, 210A, and can be supplied with a wide range of synchronous and asynchronous motors.

Features include Safe Stop to category 3 EN 954-1, CANopen, evaluation of a 2nd  encoder, evaluation of absolute encoders, sequenced positioning tasks, PLC functionality, cam-switch, online position profile generator and cam profile function.
