Protecting Pumping Systems With Pulsation Dampers

AxFlow's Blacoh Sentry pulsation dampers are based on the hydro-pneumatic appendage type, which comprises a pressure vessel containing compressed gas (air or nitrogen), separated from the process liquid by a diaphragm. These devices can be used at pressures of up to 276bar across a temperature range of -51°C to +205°C, and produce a steady fluid flow that is 90% pulsation and vibration free. Sentry can be used on all positive displacement pumps with discharge sizes from 3.8mm (1/8in) to 152.4mm (6in).
