ABB Automation has expanded its range of EMC filters for the Comp-AC low
power (0.12-37kW) ac drives family. Two types are offered: ‘regular’ for
mounting on the top or bottom of the drive, and ‘footprint’, which is
installed between the drive and mounting surface. As the filters are
add-ons, the extra cost of built-in filters is avoided in applications
where they may not be required. Regular filters have been extended down
to cover 400V applications between 2.2 and 11kW, while footprint filters
has been extended to cover the entire Comp-AC range.
