Digital Motion Controller Offers More Flexibility Than Its Predecessor

Yaskawa's new MP2300 digital motion controller is claimed to offer greater flexibility compared with its predecessor, the MP930, as well as higher processing speeds. The unit handles up to 16 servo axes and other I/O up to a maximum of 20 machine stations, all within a 1ms cycle time. The CPU typically undertakes arithmetic commands in just 0.38us, while sequence commands are processed in as little as 0.12us. The controller can be networked via Yaskawa's proprietary Mechtrolink II motion fieldbus, which operates at up to 10Mbyte/s. Click Here for more info using our Online Enquiry Service with number 220
