XP Power is offering a virtually limitless choice of customised power
supplies in the 400 to 2,200W range with is new high power density
fleXPower series. Some of the new design features include flexible series
and parallel connectivity between units of different power levels, full
industrial and medical approvals for safety and EMC, and up to six
outputs from 3.3Vdc to 150Vdc from a universal 85-264Vac or 120-370Vdc
input. In addition there are floating controls and signal, field
replaceable fans, an advanced logic interface and an extended operating
temperature range from -20oC to +7oC.
Each fleXPower unit has a chassis for the required power level in which
there are ten slots in models rated up to 700W and 12 slots for the 900W
versions. An extra 200W is available from all chassis at high line input,
enabling the highest power chassis to provide 1,100W under these
conditions. The 2,200W units comprise two 1,100W units combined.
